Ashik Asharaf Muhammed Rawther is a Partner of Astra Juris International and heads the chamber’s Corporate & International Desk.
He holds a solicitor licence in the United Kingdom and is eligible to appear before the Courts of the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) and the Courts of Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM).
His work covers corporate law and cross-border commercial matters, including investment structuring and shareholder arrangements, private equity, artificial intelligence regulation and data governance, and marine and shipping transactions. Where a matter is to be taken before a foreign forum in which he is not admitted, counsel admitted in that jurisdiction are instructed.
He is the chamber’s point of contact for institutional engagements and for instructions from clients and counsel resident outside India, and works from the chamber’s offices in Kochi, Bengaluru and the United Arab Emirates.
